BitchesBrew (698), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA May 14, 2008 [bottle, sampled at the brewery] Golden yellow/orange in color, hazy. Aroma is of powerful bitterness and fruity yeast character. Flavors are full of malt- grainy, caramel malt and oatmeal(?)... sugary. Very complex. Finishes with a mild bitter finish. Interesting, and quite enjoyable.
Mes_and_Sim (4176), London, Greater London, England Mar 25, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle during Maria’s Ton Up Tasting. Thanks to Maria for this. Slightly cloudy golden brown with a thin white film. Fantastic smelling beer. Apparently it’s the Mill Quarter hops which I misheard as "milk water" and was tickled by it for sometime. Whatever they are called the hops are adorable and carried well by some lovely honey and rye bread malt underneath. Flavour is not quite on par but it is still enjoyable. More of the same hops, honey and bread. Delicate and rather lovable all round. Nice slight sourness in the bitter finish. Yum. renffisch (406), london, Greater London, England Mar 20, 2008 75cl bottle. 2007 vintage edition. Heavy aroma of muehlviertler hops! it smells like home to me. Heartwarming taste of hops and honey. Marvellously well balance between the sweet honey sugary notes and bitter hops. hmmm... Ethereal (869), London, Greater London, England Mar 15, 2008 750ml bottle courtesy of renffisch. Strong aromatic muehlviertler hops and then a sweet, flavoursome taste. Peppery and with a full palate, this is good stuff.
jbrus (4095), Delft, Netherlands Jan 7, 2008 Bottle@Home. Sweet and grainy aroma with hints of apple. Yellow color, small white head, fair lace. Sweet, light malty, herbal, apple, alcoholic, bitter. Not unpleasant but not complex either.
