Commercial Description:
Editor's note: This beer was formerly known as Holbæk Brown Ale.
The bottled version has been brewed at Herslev Bryghus and holds 6.5% ABV.

English: A dark and full-bodied ale with a light sweetness from the caramel malt. It is brewed with a mix of three different types of malt, soft water, english bittering hops and aroma hops, which gives the beer a fruity aroma and a distinct malt character.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Powerfullmalty aroma. Strong chocolate and nutty notes. Moderate itter slighyl roasted flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate and a little too fizzy, but it is a nice brown ale.

Bottle@Øl&Mat 09, Oslo. Cloudy, dark amber colored, firm beige head. A pleasant caramel aroma backed by a fine fruit scent. Taste does not quite live up to the aroma. Caramel again, sweet nutty malts, and a faint bitterness beneath. Medium body. Some yeast tones and a mild bitterness in a short ending.

Bottle, bought @ Barley Wine, Cph.
Pours clear amber brown with a fine, stayin, off-white, frothy head. Very fruity aroma, lots of pear, mixed in with sweet caramel and some fruity hops. Medium to high carbonation, fair, frothy mouthfeel. Flavour is quite sweet, sugary, caramel, some slight fruitiness and a slight dry bitterness in the end. Not really my thing, far too sweet.
