| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 27, 2009 Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A clear, copper-colored beer, flat as a pancake. Vinous aroma, spiced with cardamom, cinnamon and ginger it seems, and with some sweetness and faint notes of marzipan. Uncarbonated and full-bodied, with flavors of sweetness and spices. Sweet, spiced finish too. Overall, it’s probably a bit on the sweet and spiced side, but as a beery replacement for gløgg, I find it really nice. 090724 Beer2000 (1828), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 16, 2009 750 ml bottle. Murky, dark red body with no head. Aroma of dry fruit and ripe cherry with spices like cinnamon and ginger. Flavor is sweet, dry fruit, raisins, Christmas cookie spices and rather much alcohol. Heavy body, many flavors but ends up a bit monotone in flavor and rather sticky. This beer also lives up to its name, but still not to pleasant for my taste. fonefan (11822), VestJylland, Denmark

Very sweet malty aroma with some barley notes. Lots of spice and dark fruit. Lots of alcohol in flavour with heavy notes of sweet malt and reminds me of a port or sherry. Very low carbonation. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 3, 2009 Bottle. No head. Hazy dark brown body. Aroma and flavor of sweet barley malt cinnamon raisin brown cookies. The high alcohol percentage is quite dominant but not too much of a good thing. I had it cold and believe it would be better warm but also find it interesting cold. Low carbonation, long aftertaste. Ungstrup (15371), Frederiksberg, Denmark
