Commercial Description:
Our version is amber colored and possess a modest bitterness and clean aroma. Crafted in the traditional Bavarian manner, it strongly resembles the Oktoberfest Biers served at the fall festival in Munich.

Like a lot of people I got this from the pack from Sam’s. Golden to orange in color with a thin head. Smells of malts, some hops, and not much else. Taste is plain, watery, malts.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a clear sunset orange color with a thin layer of ivory bubbles. Aroma is of nice malt, light fruit, grass and brown sugar. Taste is of malt and subtle hops, well blended. Medium bodied and smooth with ample carbonation. Ending is of malt with notes of grass and brown sugar. Thanks D.M.!

Came in variety pack from Sam’s Club. Poured from a bottle into a lager glass. Deep golden color. Two finger head that lasts for a few seconds. Not too much aroma, some malt and a little hops. Flavor was surprising, I wasn’t expecting much but it has a nice pleasant malt aspect. Isn’t as weak as I would’ve thought, almost medium bodied, not too watery. Haven’t tried many Marzen style beers but if this is towards the bottom of this style, I think Marzens hold some major potential.

Bottle: Poured with an orange-amber hue, lightly active, with a thin head. The aroma is quite malty, like a malt shake even. Drinks with a similar grainy basis, but finishes with a clean hoppy tang. I find this an underrated example, true to the style. Good with my schnitzel tonight. (#3348, 3/1/2008)

Bottle... Clear amber lager with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Excellent retention. Stale perspiration and poultry drippings waft up from my glass along with a minor note of toffee... pretty offensive, really. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Almost perfectly balanced, but leans just a whisper on the sweet side. Lifeless, uninspired and bland. Short, crisp, clean finish.

12oz bottle. Carmel undertones, lager characteristics. So watery. No good.

Another sub par beer from the beers of America pack. Very bland, my taste buds cant detect much other then a little malt.

12 oz bottle. No point in writing an actual review of this beer because it sucks that bad. If your actually considering buying this then you don’t belong on this site. Mine was free and I still had a hard time putting it up to my mouth. Even if your drinking this to get wasted it’s only 4% so unless your a sadist go find something else.
