Commercial Description:
Our version is amber colored and possess a modest bitterness and clean aroma. Crafted in the traditional Bavarian manner, it strongly resembles the Oktoberfest Biers served at the fall festival in Munich.

Drinking one right now from a sampler pack (Christmas present). Was purchased from Sam’s Club. Had never heard of it before, but seems to be an OK beer. Other reviews are correct about the small, off-white head with caramel aroma. Goes down fairly smooth with a decent taste, although a bit watery. I would drink it again, but I wouldn’t go to the store with the specific intent of buying it.

Very slight malt aroma from a amber body with a small white head. a touch of malt in the flavor balanced by a touch of hop and touch of bitterness. Thin mouth feel and over carbonated. A Marzen light I guess would be how i describe it.

Drinking one right now from a sampler pack I opened early for Christmas. I was pleasantly suprised since I never heard of this. Very nice fruity tone aroma with a malty taste to balance. When poured correctly, has a great off white head. Nicely carbonated on the palate. I really like this beer, wish I could buy it in a six-pack...I do agree it resembles an Octoberfest, but, hell, I like it. Does not taste commercially. Better then the Shiner Bavarian lager I have favored.

12oz bottle poured in a shaker. HITRM pours like liquid amber. It is crystal clear and flat looking. The nearly non-existant head is white and primarily lives along the rim. The very mild aroma is completely caramel and nothing else. The body is very thin but just short of watery. It’s a half step above a typical AB macro beer. The slight märzen tones are non-offensive but also uninspired. This is an adequate party beer but nothing that I’d buy again assuming there were realistic choices.

Rated while drinking: Chestnut color with a fluffed-up head. All for show. Smells like the bock I just had from this brewery. Sweet malts. More cereal water. Not offensive, but I could probably get drunk off of water a bit faster.

Toasted malt, honey and herbal hop aroma. Clear amber in color. Watery and dirty on the tongue. Weak malt flavors. One of the worst Oktoberfests I’ve had.

The aroma was hoppy and crisp with hints of lemon and flowers. The beer poured a semi cloudy brownish orange color with no head. The flavor was light and malty, hints of caramel and lemon, bready and slightly yeasty. The mouthfeel was light and watery with a light bit of carb. eh.

Picked up the Minhas Craft Beers of America Historical Collection Sample Pack at Warehouse Liquors in Duluth, Minnesota. Pours a clear light caramel brew with a fast dissolving off-white head. Aroma of lightly roasted caramel malt and citrus hops. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of some light caramel malt and some flowery hops. Finish is slightly watery, with some malt aftertaste. The ABA archives has no information on this historical beer brand. It is supposedly come from a pre-Prohibition label of some historical brewery along or near the Colorado River in Utah.
