Feb 6, 2008 sampled at the San Diego Strong Ale Festival Nov 2008, an event shared with what seemed liked hundreds of ratebeerians and enjoyed mostly through a straw, since my face was a bloody mess of scabs and stitches. this was another one of those "I’ve had to many Impy stout and DIP" beers. golden beer with a medium white head. nose of belgian yeasty and spice. flavor was slightly sweet with some citrus and spice. sitck finish. overall fairly bland

Jan 4, 2008 2007 PP Strong Ale Fest: Poured a light copper color with a large white head. Sweet Belgian yeast aroma with some biscuit malt notes and some sweetness. The flavor had notes of yeast and spice. Mild warmth with a light-medium body.

sweet fruity aroma with a touch of alcohol and nice spicyness,
sweet malt candy flavor, nice spicy character balances the sweetness, light lasting bitterness grows out of the spicyness,
