bikesandbeers (419), San Diego, California, USA Feb 6, 2008 sampled at the San Diego Strong Ale Festival Nov 2008, an event shared with what seemed liked hundreds of ratebeerians and enjoyed mostly through a straw, since my face was a bloody mess of scabs and stitches. this was another one of those "I’ve had to many Impy stout and DIP" beers. golden beer with a medium white head. nose of belgian yeasty and spice. flavor was slightly sweet with some citrus and spice. sitck finish. overall fairly bland goldtwins (3732), Nesconset, New York, USA Jan 4, 2008 2007 PP Strong Ale Fest: Poured a light copper color with a large white head. Sweet Belgian yeast aroma with some biscuit malt notes and some sweetness. The flavor had notes of yeast and spice.
