On tap at Hollister. Extremely solid Brown Ale! Pours with a large, creamy white head over a light brown body. Aroma of coffee, toffee and toast. Taste is full of chocolate, caramel, and light nuts and baked bread. Creamy mouthfeel and light bubbles. One of the best I have had of the style.

Draft. Deep copper color with a tight tan head. Nice nutty, sweet caramel aroma. medium body. Thin taste of nutty roasted malts with some dark caramel. Not a good start.

Draught at the brewpub. Deep brown color with a small, creamy head. Malty aroma with caramel and a bit of roasted malt. Rich, malty flavor with caramel and a hint of dark chocolate. Modest bitterness, but good balance. Medium bodied and quite smooth. A nice malty and smooth brown ale.
