BMan1113VR (2757), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Jul 11, 2009 On tap at Hollister. Pours with a small white ring of froth over a hazy pale yellow body. Aroma of wheat, light banana, vanilla and chlorine. Taste is sweet with vanilla, wheat, banana and orange. Tingly carbonation and a dry mouthfeel for the style. pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Apr 27, 2009 Foggy pale.white with a thin off white head. Aroma is a light spice, citrus, hay, banana esters. Taste is light maltiness, some corriander, banana esters. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA Feb 21, 2009 A lovely cloudy yeasty beverage. Sweet banana, and a lovely drinkability. Very smooth, and very drinkable. Someone at the table said it reminded them of a malty lemonade - not really a positive way to review a beer, but I think it is fitting for this one. Buy one for your lady friend. SamGamgee (1396), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA May 16, 2008 Updated: May 17, 2008Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy gold-amber with a smallish white head. The aroma is yeasty with some clove spice and a little banana bread. The flavor is tart and spicy with a nice malt sweetness that remains a little restrained. Medium-light bodied. Not as much banana as german examples that I’ve had, but a nice spice. Refreshing.
