Hollister High Water Helles

Growler thanks to my dad. Pours with a white head over a clear golden body. Aroma is grainy with light caramel, grass, and corn pops. Taste is grass, honey, toasted grains, and a decent level of hop bitterness. Lightly dry mouthfeel. Bubbly.

Gold with a lasting small white head. LIght herbal and spicy hop aroma. The flavor is dry pale malt, light bread, and medium herbal hop bitterness. Balanced just on the malt side, but with more hops than you might expect for a helles. Medium-light in body with medium carboation. If the malt was richer and the hops slightly smoother, this would be great, but its still a decent lager.

Deep gold with a thin white head. Aroma is lightly hopped, mild maltiness. Taste is a light hoppiness, dried fruit, fain caramel.
