Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, grain, cereal, meal), heavy hop (flowers, grass, pine, resin, citrus), average yeast (sweat, musty) with notes of pineapple and apricot. Full bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness. Notes of weed. bb (2919), Martinez, California, USA

It’s hoppy and piney with a touch of grapefruit and grass, as well as very slight underlying malt notes. Seems a little green. Medium bodied, smooth and slightly dry. alexanderj (2264), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 3, 2009 On tap at Toronado SD. A surprising find. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 17, 2007 On draft at O’Briens. Medium amber and clear, thin head. Hop forward aroma, citrusy, piney and fresh bitter herbs. Hip hop hoppy flavor, pine and spruce, the aggressively bitter hops, overpower any other flavors, orange peel astringency in the finish. Medium-full body and tingly carbonation. Funny, I came out with exactly the same rating as Vac.
