(Growler, courtesy of BMan1113VR) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, resin, and earth. Flavor is aggressively hoppy (pine, grass, earth), alcohol, and some caramel malt with a dry, bitter finish.

Growler courtesy of BMan1113VR. Pours copper with a nice white/tan head. Smells of pine resin, spice, sage, sweet oranges. Tastes of resin, spicy, caramelly with a peppery splash on the finish. A little rubbery astringency takes away from this on the finish.

On tap at Hollister. Pours with a small, off-white head over and amber body. Aroma of orange, pine and caramel. Taste is orange and strong caramel with a very nice alcohol presence. Strong taste of alcohol for an 8.7% beer. Light and tingly carbonation. Very nice. Picked up two growlers...

Draught at the brewpub. Amber with a sticky white head. floral and fruity hop aroma with lots of apricot. Hoppy and quite bitter, but balanced by a more pronounced nutty and light caramel malt flavor. Maltier than Hip Hop, which doesn’t let the hops flavor dominate as much, but the hops are also a little more interesting in their fruitiness.
