pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Apr 27, 2009 Amber with a white head. Aroma is light fruit, caramel, and light citrus. Taste is orange candy, interesting toffee, and floral hops. Too candy like for me. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA Feb 21, 2009 A sweet aroma - maybe more like flowers than oranges - but I guess that’s what the name implies! A very smooth sweet body, little hop presence. Almost too sweet for my liking, but a very unique and interesting beer. I’m impressed! KnN (712), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Jan 14, 2009 On tap at the pub in Goleta. Poured a nice deep orange color with a thin white head. Aroma was like opening a big jar of orange blossom honey while peeling a Clementine. Lots of orange aroma here. Flavor was big oranges, citrus, sweet, juicy. but not cloying. This was a refreshing beer. I could see enjoying this a lot on a hot summer day. Tasty beer. BMan1113VR (2752), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Jul 15, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Pours with a dark orange body covered by light, white head. Aroma of wheat and some light orange. Taste is wheat, honey and very light oranges. Exteremely refreshing. Lightly carbonated and a watery mouthfeel. SamGamgee (1394), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA May 27, 2008 Updated: May 28, 2008Draught at the brewpub. Golden color with a small white head. The aroma has lots of sweet orange and honey, with the orange dominating; pretty nice combo actually. The flavor follows suit, with light orange accents and a larger honey sweetness. Light bodied, but the sweetness adds a little stickiness to the finish. The first couple sips were nice, but the honey was just too much sweetness for my tastes. If it were a little more dried out and subtle, this would be a really pleasant drink.
