SamGamgee (1396), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA Mar 29, 2009 Draught at the brewpub. Dark gold with a white head. Floral cascade aroma. Light toffee and biscuity malt with a bitter and citrucy finish. Medium bodied. Pretty standard APA with good balance. You can’t really fault the beer execution-wise, but it certainly isn’t very distinctive. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA Feb 21, 2009 Their mildest pale ale they had on tap when I visited - but don’t let it fool you. It’s one tasty well balanced American Pale Ale. It maybe wasn’t full bodied enough, but it had a very lovely flavor profile and a nice cascade hop boom on the nose. Clear light amber color.
