Draught at the brewpub. Chestnut brown with a beige head. Smeet malty and caramel aroma with some veggie quality. The flavor is malt dominated with some brown sugar, caramel, and slight smokiness. Medium-light palate and low carbonation. Alright flavors, but a little light and boring for a scotch ale, and I didnt see where the rye really fit in.
