Grovlam (3312), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 24, 2008 [EBF @ Copenhagen, September 2008] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Cloudy golden color. Aroma of mild malt, hint of caramel with a light floral hoppyness. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and mild dry texture. Light to medium sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Mild bitter alcoholic finish.
Maria (4673), Thisted, Denmark Oct 5, 2008 EBF2008. It’s a hazy yellow-golden beer and the aroma has notes of malt, yeast and a barnyard sourness. The flavour has sweetness and notes of malt, fruits like melon, and luckily the sour barnyard notes are not found in the refreshing and pleasant flavour. joergen (6797), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 23, 2008 Draught at EBF 2008.
Hazy yellow coloured with a small white head.
Aroma of malts and yeast with notes of fruits.
Fruity flavour of yeast and hops.
Hoppy finish.
Light watery. oh6gdx (6416), Vaasa, Finland Sep 23, 2008 Draught@EBF2008. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, hops and some mild sourish wheaty notes. Flavour is wheat, mild sweet malts, some sourness as well as some grassy hoppyness. Not exactly sure exactly what the champagne yeast does in this one... TBone (5159), Pori, Finland Sep 22, 2008 (Draught@EBF).
Hazy yellow color, small white head. Wheat, leather, orange peels in the aroma. Wheaty, orange juice flavor, grassy hoppy. Champagne yeast does not add much value here.
