Oct 4, 2007 Had this beer on 9/15/1999. Color is a deep dark brown with a nice tight head. Taste is lighter than it looks . Finishing with a creamy roasted malt flavor.

Nov 5, 2002 Not a great beer at all. Even though this is a schwarzbier/dunkel and it’s supposed to be thin, it isn’t supposed to be THIS thin. Further, this brew lacks flavor (at least the good kind). There is a chalky, medicinal flavor to Black Knight that makes for a real disappointment.

Aug 20, 2002 Aroma is reedy and slightly sharp. Color is a beautiful Deep Ruby Black. First taste is very green, fading to a metallic aftertaste. Finishing the bottle rounds out to a disappointing experience.
