Headbanger (1574), Aurora, Illinois, USA Jan 3, 2008 Bottle-A light balck body with a small head and an aroma of roastee malt. Taste farly light compared to the aroma. Not a bad beer. RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 4, 2007 Had this beer on 9/15/1999. Color is a deep dark brown with a nice tight head. Taste is lighter than it looks . Finishing with a creamy roasted malt flavor. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 10/14/1999

austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA Nov 5, 2002 Not a great beer at all. Even though this is a schwarzbier/dunkel and it’s supposed to be thin, it isn’t supposed to be THIS thin. Further, this brew lacks flavor (at least the good kind). There is a chalky, medicinal flavor to Black Knight that makes for a real disappointment. doda99 (4), Manitoba, Canada does not count Oct 4, 2002 I’d rather have a cup of cold coffee than try this again! Panzuriel (992), Westerville, Ohio, USA Aug 20, 2002 Aroma is reedy and slightly sharp. Color is a beautiful Deep Ruby Black. First taste is very green, fading to a metallic aftertaste. Finishing the bottle rounds out to a disappointing experience. K-V-F-L (292), LaVista, Nebraska, USA Oct 18, 2001 Solid layering. Flavor disappears quickly; a shame because a good maltiness is present initially. Nothing to get really excited about. jayme9874 (756), Hamburg, New York, USA Aug 28, 2001 Somewhat sweet malt aroma, ok head, some crystal malt evident, not much of anything really, its not horrible, just not very interesting.
