May 26, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) The stronger Holsten export-version is a dark golden brew with a fine, dense white head. Nice malt in the nose. Body soft as velvet with the malt being very pronounced also here. Fruity, fresh hoppy finish. An excellent lager indeed. 210899

Jan 19, 2004 Pleasant blond appearance and underlying sweetness.Not a bad beer just fairly bland when compared with some of the other ones that come out of Germany.Worth trying but not too often.

Jul 13, 2005 Holsten holds a place in my heart for twice sponsoring my beloved Tottenham Hotspur FC... Not bad for a commercial German--a bit too much of the hop for this otherwise clean Deutsche brew.

May 6, 2008 Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of straw, and so is the flavor, leading to a slightly bitter finish.
