Color is a light clear golden yellow, thin white loose head that fades fast to leave a thin ring and very tiny spotty lace. Smell is soapy musty lemon, straight up weird and not to pleasant. What lacks in smell makes up for it in the taste. Its a quick little surge of lemonade, not to sugary but pretty darn sweet, partially artificial like those lemon drop candies. Actually alot like that but much quicker. Thin creamy feel and lightly crisp and quick. Over way to soon, I need more. Don't know what to think of this one, a bit hard to finish even though it plays around with a refreshing quality thats a bit nice, but its just to strange for me to really like. This concoction may have been the brain child for the Malternative style lemonade drinks, who knows?

Golden, lacking carbonation. Fake lemon aroma, like Saxer Lemon Lager. Candyish lemon flavours. A kiss of malt is the only bit of beer here. Fizzy crackle adds a little crispness in the finish to offset the cloying lemon extract. Evaluated as a beer, it is poor, but it gets a good Overall Impression number because it is a lot like Saxer Lemon Lager, which I used to love sitting on the deck overlooking the Fraser River during my university summers. Recapturing that here in Toronto might be tough, but nostalgia helps me drink this whereas I don't imagine too many other Ratebeerians would want a second bottle.

Lemon pledge aroma. Watery mouthfeel. Bit to sweet. Not much in the way of beer flavour. Not unenjoyable but would not make a repeat purchase.

Aroma is very strong lemon smell almost over-powering. No head, clear in appearance. Carbonation bubbles. Flavour is very lemony. It doesn't seem like a beer taste, but more like a lemon drink with beer added. This is more a shandy than a beer.

Maybe my opinion was affected by the fact that I drank a bottle after several hours of yard work on a Sunday afternoon, but I actually didn't think this beer was horrible. Yeah, it's a mediocre Euro-lager, slightly skunky due to the green bottle, mixed with some artifical tasting lemon flavour. But it was a lot less offensive than I expected, and did a nice job quenching my thirst. I won't be rushing back to the store for a case or anything, but as a fruity summer drink, it hit the spot better than any alcopop.

Hm. Tastes like Holsten with lemon juice and sugar poured into it, which is precisely as bad as you’d think.

Lemon, hops aroma, pale yellow, short lived head. Corn, with lemon taste, too sweet. Corona with lemon, not a very pleasant drink.

Pale yellow, with a light white head. The nose is lightly skunked with citrusy lemon notes and a light hint of ginger. Very sweet body, spritzy and citrusy with a light bitterness towards the end. Nice try. The LCBO making a mockery of beer variety.
