A glass is generally the best for this purpose. Having done that I discover an amber coloured beer with a head that dissipates as quickly as if you had sprinkled the beer with epsom salts. While this may add some necessary character to the beer the decision not to do this is probably wise. This headless wonder then boasts no hop presence and a maltiness that is not a welcome taste. This reminds me of the beverage that gentlemen of the street would be happy to drink. Having four walls and a fridge gives one a different perspective on life. jerc (3936), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Sweet muted aroma, light grains and alcohol. Similarly mild flavour, pale macro grains, odd sweetness, light alcohol is less significant that one would expect if you keep it cold. 5/3/5/2/10 - 2.4 Can from the LCBO, Shared with Mabel
<P>Dec 2000 - Thin bodied, and unexceptional. Hints at raisins. Worth trying but too much alcohol flavour spoiled it for me. 6/3/6/1/12 - 2.8 Can from LCBO. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 7, 2003 Hmmm ... nice golden colour, big fizzy head that smells like cinnamon, then like fruit and ethanol. Sickly sweet, malty, but with no real character; perhaps that Bavarian purity law is detrimental after all, because this is lacking something. Flavourful as it is, this beer still betrays its relatively high alcohol content, and the body is thin and sticky. Not terrible, but you could do better, unless you happen to live in freaking Ontario, where the gub'ment decides what you can and cannot drink. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

Malts, loads of alcahol/acidic accents in the flavour. Is light spiced. Heavy alcahol bitterness on the tongue in the end. haukur (684), Reykjavik, Iceland
