Apr 9, 2008 Bottle. Golden and still with a small head. Aromas are yeasty and soapy with baked beans and cardboard. Some hints of shit. Flavours are soapy and dry with yeast and stewed beans. Incredibly foul.

Dec 18, 2007 The bottle looks very good. The beer is very zippy, for a non-alcohol beer a very fine foam. Tastes a little bit as the normal Holsten, really not bad, a good alternative to a normal beer.

Light yellow, frothy head. Smells like gents loos - pissy and perfumed with urinal cakes. The taste does at least indicate that this is in some way related to beer - i.e. it’s at least made of grain. Plenty of nastiness for a beer so weak. Nastiness stays on for a nasty finish. Best negative aspect - it doesn’t even get you there!

Dec 15, 2007 Biggish shiny white head does not last. Yellow body with carbonation. Medicinal straw and grain aroma, somewhat chemical. Dry slightly hoppy straw taste with chalky notes. Some rubber. No aftertaste. Not bad. (0.33l bottle at Ashburnham Arms, Greenwich.)
