i got this from my work as it had been opened an hour before and was never going to sell. Though i dont think this did very much to the taste. And this is holsten pils at 5.2% out a bottle also, though these bottles used to be 5.5%.

Can. Golden appearence. Pleasently malty, notes of grass and herbs, soft mouthfeel. An ok lager.

Well, this is a let down! It’s a long time since I tasted any Holsten brews, and I had fond memories of them( mostly of diat pils from my student days) but this was poor by comparison, lacking in aroma and flavour..good colour, but the head disappeared very quickly...sorry, not impressed.(bottled)

A little on the sweet, syruppy maltiness. Not much in the hop department. Cheap at the local store. Nothing too special.

Light yellow colour with small white head. Aroma is mostly malty with hints of some hops. Flavor is initially malty, then becomes more hoppy and bitter.

500ml can. Medium straw hued beer with a smallish lacy white head. Fresh malt aroma. Crisp malt flavour, some hops in the finish. A bit grainy.

Crisp, generally uninspiring but refreshing and nice enough as a session lager.
