Can. White head, sparse lacing, carbonated and transparent with a pale yellow hue. Malty, hoppy aroma. Malty and hoppy flavor with a hoppy aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel. Light-medium bodied.

Had this on draft in Kiel. Not sure I’m rating the right one. But it was Holsten Pils. The ratings don’t seem to match what I tasted. A typical German Pils, strong hops flavor. Crisp finish. Nice thick white head that stayed.

The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 74. This canned brew from the a rest stop on an autobahn in Germany poured a large sized frothy head of fine to medium sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent yellow orange colored body. The aroma contained notes of mild malts and hops. The mouth feel was mildly tingly and hoppy with a lingering mild hop finish. The flavor contained nice notes of malts and hops favoring the hops.

Blond color. An average lager; nothing special. Some bitterness at the end, higher than the average.

Mildly spicy hop nose. Clear golden coloured with thin white head that recedes completely. Grainy cereal malt in the finish. Body on the watery side. Fairly plain pils. Can. Thanks JoeMcPhee!

fizzy yellow belly lager beer. It left me indifferent towards pils.
