Mar 10, 2004 Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a hint of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.

Nov 16, 2003 Bottle, Eurostar Station, London. Mine was 5.2% ABV. Has a roasted malt flavor resembling coffee. Reminds me of Deibels Plato 13(?). Very good.

Aug 28, 2003 Had it from both bottle and can. I think like the other macro brewers, the bigger the company the more disappointing the product. The can is considerably worse than the bottle, but both fail to impress. Don't mention the product available from the tap in the UK either.

Jul 3, 2003 Updated: Jul 6, 2003Bottle. Although I generally love German beers, this lager was a major dissapointment. Both smell and tase reminded me of power food for cattle, Never again please.
