Tap. Clear golden color and a thin white head. Flavor is good like any other good pilsener beer, the finish let a little bit bitter. The first one drinked at Hamburg - Germany. :)

in Can 500 ml., Has clear a yellow color, that remembers the straw. A small but lasting head. In the prime aroma hop, and has something of bittersweet syrup. The body is thin, something watery and has some sparkles of candy. The finish is bitter, but smooth. It is not a bad beer, remembers a pilsner, but is not a good pilsner.

Bottle. Nice aroma of hops and also sweet and malty. Good dry hoppy flavour with a comfortable touch of swwt malt. Long dry hoppy aftertaste.

Quite a basic northern german lager. Not as crisp as the pilseners from Germany, but packs a bit more flavor than your average north european lager.

50 cl can. Boring, sweet Eurolager. Thes guys used to make a very decent pils a few decades ago! Avoid.

Golden color, thin head, its the 200th holsten i had but the first rating,.... time’s chance in 20 years,..weak one

Yellow color, fine head which doesn’t last really long. Aroma sweet and skunky. But from here its boring and bland, just another mass produced mass marketed sweet chemical tasting swill.

’Holsten Pils’, 5% bottle. Gently malty with very little in the way of hop bitterness. Only a very distant hint of rubber. Vaguely fruity nose. The draught version I’ve sampled in Germany is far hoppier than this. Obviously far too bland to qualify as a Pilsener, and ’Premium lager’ is pushing it.
