Luckily for me, so are Bavarian Beers. Color not unlike Budweiser, or piss. Mildly hoppy flavor, but nothing that reaches out. Not very smooth, even for a lighter beer. stouby (1955), Holbaek, Denmark

Yellow colour. Earthy, light hoppy nose. Light, bit soapy mouthfeel with a pleasant hop tone in good balance with what seems to be "all grain"( a bit of mûnchener malt maybe?). Light, but notable bitterness. Reminiscent of a lighter Oktoberfest maybe? Pretty good! FrankJohansen (3370), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

Sweet malt and some metallic and grassy hops. Some buttery notes on tasting. A bit of ’nya’ bitterness creeps its way into the aftertaste unfortunately. One to drink if there’s not much else available (eg if there was aussie macro-piss). XtraStout (46), Alberta, Canada

I haven’t had it in years nor have I had the original from Germany. It wasn’t a bad beer from what I remember. Fairly mild, nothing special. Some mild hops with a mediocre finish.
