(I’m not a big Holsten fan and I’ve only rated the Maibock so far because I think it’s the best available to me here but it’s a slow month...) Can: Pours a very light yellow (to reminiscent of urine for me) with a thin white head that is gone instantly. Aroma is sweet and grainy and smells slightly of alcohol. Flavour is sharp and sweet/grainy with a washed out watery bitter aftertaste. I don’t know why I bothered throwing this can into the mix...forgive me for rating swill.

Yellow colored, medium big bubbled white head. Sweet, mildly hoppy, grassy and metallic aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Medium carbonation with sweet, mild flowery tones. Mildly hopped and round ending.

Pours a nice light golden yellow. Aromas of hops, grass, and maybe malt. Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor.

Pale yellow with a small white head. Sweet, faint skunky aroma. Sweet malty flavor with a light hoppy touch.

Premium. Sure, whatever. Light gold. Nose sweet, not skunky at all nicely enough, somewhat grassy. Odd flavor, some light sweetness, but it finishes with a strange, cheap cocoa aftertaste. Bit of a chalky residue as well. Tastes like somebody made a generic-brand chocolate-flavored Tums and brewed a beer with it.

Competent Eurolager. Pale gold, 0.5cm head. Standard Eurolager nose, thankfully unskunked despite the green bottle. Aroma of cardboardy malt and grassy hops. Sweet and malty initially with a metallic hop gatecrashing the rather dull party. Crisp and dry. Acceptable as a summer quencher. (330ml bottle, Amatos)

500ml can. Skunky. Very uninspired and tame. Very light yellow colour. Flavour similiar to most commercial lager beers from around the world. Not very hoppy. No signature taste. Bottom line: refeshing but boring.

This nice Lite lager was a good beer to class. The light yellow color along with the good head. This was a bit skunky. But that can be from the green bottle. A good Pale Lager.
