Interesting beer, I was fortunate to have been lucky enough to have tried this. Very fruity and hoppy. I tasted a distinct taste of pear

Never the same beer twice. Extremely inconsistent - this may result from some of Holts’ pubs reputed cellar practises. Some evenings you can drink a gallon and feel completely sober, then again you can have 2 or 3 and be pissed as a fart. Same goes for the taste; either a superb, well-balanced pint or you get Satan’s urine. Probably safer to drink it outside of Manchester.

Cask at the Doric Arch, Euston, London. Nice amber color, dark amber, with glints of orange fire. Decent off-white head. Spicy aroma. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is floral hop, light caramel, and cinnamon? Something spicey is definitely there. Finishes nicely bitter with that spice hanging in. Great.

Pint handpulled at Doric Arch, Euston. Creamy head over a dark brown body. Standard bitter with malty fruit aroma followed by a mild bitter flavour supported by a touch of vanilla sweetness. Light notes of malt and bitter in the finish (thanks to Anthony, 12.03.2008).

Gravicask at The Bricklayers Arms Lancashire Fest, 14th Sept 2007. Golden amber with malty aroma and flavour. Full enough palate. Simple, standard bitter.

Cask (Head of Steam, London)<br /> Mid amber, light head. Fairly decent sweet hoppy nose. Great maltiness is the best part of the taste though. Simple, but very solid English bitter.
