Jul 31, 2007 Cask conditioned @ South Western Arms Beer Festival. Thin with plenty of caramel. One dinmensional and that side isnt particularly great.

Nov 7, 2004 Britannia, Rochester. A sweet and nutty ale with minimal hop awareness. If Holts was in Scotland this would be called a Scottish Ale. If it was from the North East it would be called a Brown Ale. Coming from Manchester its a roastier and sweeter than average Best bitter.

Oct 29, 2004 Bland pale golden brew with some sweetish grains and a hint of grassy hops. Typical regional seasonal. (Cask at Crown & Anchor, Manchester)
