A decent drink this, and 1.95 in my local pub. I think we have a new drink for my on match days. Slight caramel and chocolate in there but quite subtle. Pretty much black and pretty much tasty. Good work.

Bottle. Pours almost black with red lights, creamy beige head. Aroma roasted malt, liquorice, dark coffee. Flavours of smoky malt, liquorice toffee, dried fruit, woody notes. Sticky-sweet, rich mouthfeel, smooth and lingering finish of dried fruits and more liquorice. Excellent strong ale.

Bottle. Black with red tints and a beige foam. Aromas are milk and dark chocolate with raisins. Lightly roasted with herbal notes. Flavours are rich and malty with dark chocolate and its bitterness. Fruity with dark berries. Dark syrup with some smokiness. Alcohol on the finish. The sparkle lets it down a touch but overall this is very decent.

Bottle. Black beer with a light head. The aroma is spiced and quite vinous. The flavour has a very deeply bitter finish and a spiced and vinous body. Overall a pretty good beer.
