bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Mar 11, 2004 on tap: this to me was a good american hefe, very typical in presentation. unfiltered yellow with that damn lemon served on the lip. dont they know a lemon kills all the flavor or lack there of. i used to enjoy this beer several times at the holy cow and believe it stands up to the pyramids and wydmers. prost!! Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA Mar 22, 2003 Nice cloudy orange-yellow beer with solid head. Sweet yeasty aroma, but surprisingly little yeast characteristics ... very light, fruity, sweet. Not a classical HW, but still a good beer. Crit (2399), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jan 3, 2003 Called Vegas Gold, as Gusler says.Cloudy gold. Faint yeasty nose. Yeasty flavor. Light and refreshing Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA Mar 24, 2002 Arizona beer Fest 03/23/02: Now called Vegas Gold Wheat: Pours a nice slightly chill hazed gold, white head, generous lace. Nose is spicy, citrus, malts and a tad yeasty. Begins malt sweet, medium body, light to moderate carbonation, acidic, crisp, and a fair hop presence at the finish. Andrew196 (1091), Katy, Texas, USA Mar 17, 2002 Cloudy, very yeasty aroma, weird malt aftertaste, weak head...nothing special. plummdumb99 (34), USA Sep 7, 2001 could’ve been better JessterCPA (130), Wayne, New Jersey, USA Sep 5, 2001 Another beer that was made to serve in Las Vegas. Crisp, citrus, satifying.
