Commercial Description:
Full bodied with malty sweetness. Roasted and caramel malt flavors are predominant. Hops compliment this beer’s high maltiness, but are barely noticeable. A robustly flavorful and hearty beer.

Nice opaque color with a kahaki head and roasted malt and caramel on the nose. Rich coffe and dark chocolate in the taste. Nice and smooth on the palate.

on tap: this was a regular at the holy cow but i dont think it moved much... usually would have that flat sweet alcohol taste, old?? have had in what i think was its prime and was quite good but a bith thin...choc, malt, coffee overtones some burnt flavor also, very little hoppiness in there. dont think this one is available anymore.

Black with lasting brown head.Roasted coffee nose. Despite the brewmaster insisting he used no espresso it has a roasted espresso taste. Lasting finish. Rather thin

Arizona Beer Fest 03/23/02: Deep brown to black, chocolate brown head, fair lace. Toasted grains, caramel in the nose, big on the malt, aromatic. Start malt sweet, full body, finsih is dry, acidic, mild to medium carbonation, fair hop presence, quite a good stout.

Very little head. This stuff was very thin for a stout. It had the standard look of a stout with a roasted coffee/chocolate flavor. It had a roasted aftertaste which went away soon.
