bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Mar 11, 2004 had this one at holy cow several times and now at the draft house: slightly different recipe or brewing system the new one is very hoppy and bitter, the pour is a nice headed. but this stuff is hopped to the nine. be careful boys!! Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA May 4, 2003 Now called BAD DOG IPA under the brewer's new Big Dog Brewing Co. moniker. Awesome caramel with gigantic head. Flowery nose and full-on hop flavors, grapefruit sour. No bittering end, and though I never thought I'd say this, I think the hops here are almost overpowering. Crit (2399), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jan 3, 2003 Amber with lasting head.Good hop nose. Massive lasting citrus hop flavor, but lacks balance. Great Belgian lace Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA Mar 24, 2002 Arizona Beer Fest 03/23/02: Pours a nice amber color, off white head, fair lace. Big hop floral nose, malts under tones. Front is malt, the middle light
to medium, the finish is slightly acidic, big hop bite, crisp and leaves a bitter twang in your mouth, a good IPA to be sure. Andrew196 (1091), Katy, Texas, USA Mar 17, 2002 Equally as hoppy as the pale ale, but a bit more creamy in the finish. Not bad, but not that good either.
