Bottle thanks to Ibrew2or3. Pours a very dark black with a small off-white head. The aroma is strong coffee, some fruit juice, and a buttery sweet note. The flavor was similar, lots of coffee mixed with sweet fruit juice, not bad but odd. I dont care much for the buttery finish. Overall though, not bad and pretty nice.

Bottle shared by aplusbreaks poured a clear dark brown with red highlights and a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of coffee, toffee, light fruittiness and light vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bitter chocolate, coffee, light carmel and light pomegranate with a smooth bittersweet finish.

Bottle, pours a deep black with a tan head. I was a little skeptical of the idea of pomegranate in a stout like this, but it works. The subtle tartness adds contrast to the rich, roasted malt flavors that dominate.

Bottle. Rich dark purplish black colored body, 1/2-1 inch deep fudge brown colored head but it dies quickly and leaves a small film above a purple-tinted top layer. Rich red wine and dry oak in the nose but muddled by a moderately strong lactic note - burnt milk, yeast-heavy plum skins, etc. Surprisingly fruity flavor. Dry, tannic, lactic, rough and astringent. Reminds me of syrah but at the same time it is messy and flabby on the tongue. Imperial stout rating 200.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours completely black and opaque with a small light brown head. Aroma of hard roasted malt and raisins. Full-bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Sweetish roasted malts, some chocolate and dried fruit. Light malt bitterness in the finish. Pleasant. 291108

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a medium tan head. The aroma is very stouty with notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, and hard roasted malt. The dlavor is sweet malty again with notes of soy sauce and hard roasted malt. The finish is dry and quite roasted.

12oz. bottle, with thanks to bitbucket for yet another great bonus! Pours a dark brown with a two finger tan head that drifts to a thin covering, moderate retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is ripe dark fruit juice, cocoa, and coffee, a bit odd overall but not offensive. Flavor is more dark fruit juice, with only the slightest coffee and chocolate pushed to the background. The flavor is better than the aroma alludes to, not bad when all is said and done. Thanks Bob!
