Commercial Description:
Dark chocolate barley and roasted grains paired with American hops and Belgian yeast create a mouthful of flavors, but wait thats not all, add a hint of pomegranate juice and what you have here is not your run of the mill fruit beer. You've hit the mother load. At 8%ABV this ale is suitablefor aging 1-2 years. Brewed by Florida Beer Co for Gordash Brewing.

Nose is coffee and chocolate, black, small cappuccino head. Taste is a rich cocoa, and then fine coffee. Full bodied, balanced, bitter and oily. Terrific! Thank You Beershine and Oakes.

12oz bottle. Poured deep ruddy brown with almost zero head. The aroma picked up sour pomegranate and cherry pit notes upfront, giving a bright, funky twist to the style.. semi-sweet chocolate and a hint of copper behind (the latter may have been related to the fruit).. the interesting factor outweighed the I-was-kinda-feeling-a-traditional-deep-roasted-no-adjuncts-imperial-stout. The flavor opened with tart pomegranate juice, then opened up to more roasty malt character than the nose (blend of sweet and darker chocolates, mild coffee bitterness, and a pinch of brown sugar).. the fruit juice outweighed the chocolate by a little on the back-end and through the finish.. bright overall feel to it. Medium-bodied and tangy on the palate with a sweet underlying impression.. a little tacky on the finish.. intriguing brew that isn’t in the same league as the better imperial stouts.

12oz bottle via trade with TURDFERGUSON, thanks Sam. Dark black pour, with a tan head. Nice aroma, dark roasty malts. Nice flavor, just a little thin though in the finish. Still, it’s a tasty brew.

Courtesy of Daknole. Pours black with a thin brown head. Smells sicky sweet, astringent and somewhat fruity. Tastes smokey, sweet, fruity and unlike i few of the other reviews i do taste the pomagranite which gives the beer red wine cabernet like taste oaky woody.

Thanks Santa. Black body, thin tan head. Nose is lots of rasty malt, some cocoa, an odd slightly plasticy (fruity) aspect. Flavor is sweet berry, lots of roast, a strange burnt aspect. Just odd from the pomegranate. Its overly bitter.. Strange stuff.

12oz bottle from Ibrew2or3...thanks dave! Dark in color, small head that faded quickly. Fruity aroma. Taste was pomegranete, kind of funky.... Not bad, I guess it is just different. It sitll has some roasted malt taste. Texture is a little thin for an impy stout. Nothing worth seeking out. Hats of to the brewers for trying something "outside the box".

Nice fruit in the aroma with a underlying stoutiness. Ripe, rich fruit up front in the flavor but falls into a muddy, peanuty grossness with a watery, milky finish. Blech. I like the fruit though.

12 oz bottle courtesy of daknole. Pours an opaque black color with a small tan head that soon diminishes. The aroma is rich with dark chocolate, milk chocolate and a bit of coffee. The taste is not quite up to the high expectations set by the aroma. The flavor is mostly coffee, mocha and dark chocolate, but the palate is a bit off. The mouthfeel is thin and acidic. The finish is long with lingering cocoa. Overall: Strengths outweigh flaws, A very tasty stout. Thanks Dakine.
