Commercial Description:
Dark chocolate barley and roasted grains paired with American hops and Belgian yeast create a mouthful of flavors, but wait thats not all, add a hint of pomegranate juice and what you have here is not your run of the mill fruit beer. You've hit the mother load. At 8%ABV this ale is suitablefor aging 1-2 years. Brewed by Florida Beer Co for Gordash Brewing.

Ditto to Dragonstout, thanks to Bob for sharing his brand new beer. A strong Belgian style stout of sorts. Neat stuff. Nearly opaque black, light creamy head. Nice aroma with mild roast and a frruity funky Belgian carnival. Chocolate, meaty roasted plums (what?), chocolate covered cherries but thats probably the pomegranate. Lightly vinous. Clean chocolate and roast flavors with pom in the background. Pretty well built, almost a dessert beer. A touch of acrid husky dark gains in the finish. Plenty of complexity here, really nice.

Draught: Poured a black color with a light brown creamy thick head. The aroma was coffee bean and bacon. Taste is smokey with burnt caramel malt.

Bottle, thanks daknole! Pours opaque blackish brown with a scant and fading tan head. Aroma of coffee, blackberries, and a touch of chocolate. Creamy medium body and active carbonation. Lightly sweet taste of coffee, biscuit. Dry espresso finish that is a bit tart. Pretty nice, but I would enjoy it more if it wasn’t over-carbonated.

Nice bonus from kiefdog. Thanks man! Pours black with a creamy tan head. Smell is char, roast, ash and fruity tartness. Taste is semi sweet chocolate malt and a tart fruity presence that is similar to that in a cherry stout. Not noticeably pomegranate. Sweet and tart chocolate flavors with a medium to full body and soft, creamy carbonation. Interesting, but a bit sugary overall.

12 oz. bottle via trade with laroja - Pours a clear dark brown color with a 1/2 finger thick tan head that faded pretty quick. Light carbonation and no lacing. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor is dark esters, lightly sweetened chocolate malt and light roasted malt. Mouthfeel is a little thin. Slight lingering aftertaste. A decent beer. Thanks Morgan.

Black pour with a tan head and lace. Chocolate, toasted malt and coffee on the nose. Semi sweet chocolate flavor with a decent bitter. A tad thin and foamy. All round very good offering.

Big surpise out of Gordash Beer co. Pours black, with a thin nutty head. Nose is roasty with a slight fruity presence. Aroma is roasty malt, coffee with a very hidden but sweet discreet pomegranate. Sweet and bitter at the same time, mix between the roastiness and the botterness of the yeast. Still wondering how this qualifies as an Imperial!

12 oz bottle as a trade extra from Emacgee. Almost black in color with a tan head. Aroma of roast, a touch of chocolate. Taste is roasty with some chocolate, mildly fruity from the pommegranate, a bit on the thin side, but enjoyable enough. Finishes with a light hop bitterness. Thanks Ethan for sending this my way.
