Aroma of roast, a touch of chocolate. Taste is roasty with some chocolate, mildly fruity from the pommegranate, a bit on the thin side, but enjoyable enough. Finishes with a light hop bitterness. Thanks Ethan for sending this my way. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA

I can tell you that didn’t really drive me to want to drink it. I must be missing something, either that or i should have waited when it was a bit colder to drink this baby. A little too sweet for my taste. Dark muddy black, nothing to see here- medium sized creamy tan head. Aroma was sweet with chocolate, pomme.Taste was sort of annoying with the sweetness. a bitunbalanced in my opinion. Anway, thanks kayla! tronraner (1939), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

The aroma is on the fruity side with berries and pomegranate, with notes of espresso, dark chocolate, wet wood, and anise. The flavor is roasted sourness with that strong fruit element agaiin. Then come notes of chocolate and tannin. Finish is spice, berries, and toasted wood. Interesting beer. swoopjones (1925), Buffalo, New York, USA
