Commercial Description:
Dark chocolate barley and roasted grains paired with American hops and Belgian yeast create a mouthful of flavors, but wait thats not all, add a hint of pomegranate juice and what you have here is not your run of the mill fruit beer. You've hit the mother load. At 8%ABV this ale is suitablefor aging 1-2 years. Brewed by Florida Beer Co for Gordash Brewing.

bottle courtesy of daknole. black pour with a small espresso head. very sour scent along with a small amount of roasted malts. thick roasted malt flavor that finished with a sour/funkness due to the pomegranate i’m guessing. this brew does overall get better as it warms.

Black to brown in color with an ok head. Smell is malty, smoke, sherry like, and wood. Taste is alcohol, oak, and fruit. Different sort of beer ok but not great.

12 oz bottle as a trade extra from Emacgee. Almost black in color with a tan head. Aroma of roast, a touch of chocolate. Taste is roasty with some chocolate, mildly fruity from the pommegranate, a bit on the thin side, but enjoyable enough. Finishes with a light hop bitterness. Thanks Ethan for sending this my way.

12 oz bottle shared by toncatcher. Aromas were roasted malts and berries. Lots more roastiness in the flavor with just touches of the fruit that I could smell. A very interesting flavor combination. Not too bad.

Why does the bottle say malt beverage? I can tell you that didn’t really drive me to want to drink it. I must be missing something, either that or i should have waited when it was a bit colder to drink this baby. A little too sweet for my taste. Dark muddy black, nothing to see here- medium sized creamy tan head. Aroma was sweet with chocolate, pomme.Taste was sort of annoying with the sweetness. a bitunbalanced in my opinion. Anway, thanks kayla!

Bottle, thanks to lithy. Pours black with very small tan head. The aroma is on the fruity side with berries and pomegranate, with notes of espresso, dark chocolate, wet wood, and anise. The flavor is roasted sourness with that strong fruit element agaiin. Then come notes of chocolate and tannin. Finish is spice, berries, and toasted wood. Interesting beer.

Dark brown pour with frothy tan and some decent lace. Pomegranate and chocolate on the nose. Complex flavor consisting of caramel & espresso up front and a vanilla pomegranate finish very nice
