12oz bottle scored in a trade with daknole. Thanks Dakine! Pours an opaque black with a thin white head, only slightly thick with light carbonation. Aroma is very unique for an ’imperial stout’, very floral, fruity, black pepper, chocolate and spice. Flavor is similar, starts out with sweet roasted malts, then nuts and pepper come in, the pomegranate can be sensed at the end with a juicy like fruitiness. Finish is chalky, dry and medium bodied. Very pleasant and extremely unique. One of a kind actually. Doesn’t hold up well next to other imperials, but that’s because it’s a type of stout unique to itself.

Pours black with minimal brown head that dissipates quickly. Big chocolate and coffee aromas. Flavor starts out with bitter burnt malts, caramel and molasses and finishes with the sweetness of the pomegranite juice. A very interesting tasting imperial stout. Full body with very minimal carbonation and a soft mouthfeel.

Bottle via trade with dchmela. Pours a velvety brown-black with a thin brown head. Nose is pomegranate, oak, and malt. Sweet candy sugars, pomegranate, coffee. Mouth is fairly flat. Taste like alcoholic juice. I really like it.

Bottle at Cbus 11. Pours dark brown nearly black with a smallish tan colored head. Aroma is yeast, chocolate, light roast. Flavor is chocolate, yeast, dark fruits, light toast. Palate is medium bodied, a lttle thin for my taste, medium carbonation, finsihed bitter. Pretty decent stuff, a little more body I would say this is damn good.

12oz bottle from Ibrew2or3...thanks dave! Dark in color, small head that faded quickly. Fruity aroma. Taste was pomegranete, kind of funky.... Not bad, I guess it is just different. It sitll has some roasted malt taste. Texture is a little thin for an impy stout. Nothing worth seeking out. Hats of to the brewers for trying something "outside the box".

Bottle. Moderate aromas of grain, toasted and mild coffee for the malt, light perfume for the hops, light earth for the yeast, and background notes of berry, wood and charcoal. Head is frothy, light brown with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is very dark brown, almost black. Flavor is moderately sweet and lightly acidic to start then finishes lightly bitter, a bit sour and has a long lingering sweet aftertaste. Palate is medium, watery but a touch syrupy and has a lively carbonation. Aside from tasting a bit artificially sweetened, an okay Imperial Stout, but yet a little out of balance.

12oz bottle thanks to thecheeseman. Pours black with tan head. Aroma is of roasted malt, dark fruits, dark chocolate and coffee. Flavor is of roasted malt, bitter coffee, chocolate and some fruit. Mouthfeel is a little thin but is smooth and creamy on the palate. Like the flavor but is just a little to thin. Tasty ale though.
