At 8%ABV this ale is suitablefor aging 1-2 years. Brewed by Florida Beer Co for Gordash Brewing.

12oz. bottle, with thanks to bitbucket for yet another great bonus! Pours a dark brown with a two finger tan head that drifts to a thin covering, moderate retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is ripe dark fruit juice, cocoa, and coffee, a bit odd overall but not offensive. Flavor is more dark fruit juice, with only the slightest coffee and chocolate pushed to the background. The flavor is better than the aroma alludes to, not bad when all is said and done. Thanks Bob!

Bottle pours black with thin tan head. Aroma is coffee, cherry, roasty, and sweetness. Has a heavy mouthfeel to it. Taste is rich, smooth coffee and chocolate, subtle fruit notes, and has a creamy finish to it. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this beer. Its a very good beer and I think is highly overrated.

(bottle thanks for sharing OSLO!) pours black with a light tan head. As OSLO mentioned, the aroma is really strange. It’s a mix of chocolate, strong scents of roasted barley, and a subtle undertone of pomegranate that lends a slight sour smell to the beer. Although unusual, I didn’t find it to be all that pleasant to smell. The flavor possessed a lot of roasted malt, with a marshmallow and graham cracker like finish. There also was just a hint of that pomegranate flavor detectable too. The mouthfeel was medium-thin. This was definitely an unique impy.

pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted coffe beans, dark chocolate, some tiny hints of pepper. Taste has lively carbonation, some stickyness, small hint of the pomegranate juice in the finish. Overall a soldi stout. thanks to beastifan2k

Thanks to Bob Gordash, the brewer, for sharing this up at Redlight. This one poured a deep black color with a thin tan colored head that elft spotty lacing around the glass. The aroma is very interesting on this one with a lot of chocolate and a touch of roasted malts on the nose. Another whiff of the beer brings out some belgian yeast characters and a hint of the pomegranate. The flavor follows suit with the dark and milk chocolate flavors rushing forward with a small amount of roastiness and then promptly followed by fresh pomegranate. The pomegranate and chocolate came together beautifully and with great balance between the two. The mouthfeel was medium bodied that was almost creamy with some vinous quality to it. The finish was chocolate covered pomegranate with a touch of hops in there. This was really nicely done, and I am glad I got to try this. I can’t wait until he bottles this in April.

12oz bottle thanks to mcbackus. This pours black with a brown head. Interesting aroma, it smelled roasty with fruit when cool, but more funky and even soy sauce when warm. Taste was roasty as well with dark fruit. Mouthfeel was medium, but thinner than expected from an Impy stout. A bit oily and bitter, yet got sour later. Interesting.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Daknole. Pours a black color with a hint of purple with no head to speak of. Nose is coffee, chocolate & a hint of citrus. Palate was a bit lively for an Imperial Stout, but it works for this brew. Interesting mix of flavors here. You got dark , bitter coffee, bakers chocolate, a hint of spice from the belgian yeast & an odd citrus presence. I’ve never had pomegrante juice, but that must be what I am tasting here. You owe it to yourself to try this brew.

08 bottle thanks to jayg. Black pour with a short-lived, tan, 1 finger head. Chocolate, sweetened coffee, brown sugar and slight dark fruit aroma. Boozy, fruity chocolate flavor with a slight bitter coffee finish. Oily full body with lots of carbonation.
