Commercial Description:
Dark chocolate barley and roasted grains paired with American hops and Belgian yeast create a mouthful of flavors, but wait thats not all, add a hint of pomegranate juice and what you have here is not your run of the mill fruit beer. You've hit the mother load. At 8%ABV this ale is suitablefor aging 1-2 years. Brewed by Florida Beer Co for Gordash Brewing.

This is one of the best Imp. Stouts I think I have ever had. It ranks up there with DFH World Wide Stout, but much more reasonable. I was a bit skeptic when I read the pomegranate info, but it was excellent. It has a lot of chocolate and coffee in the aroma, after it pours a dark chocolate color with a tiny off-white head. At first sip it has a great milk-chocolate and slight-coffee flavor, but instead of any hop bitterness I was left with a mellow, slightly fruity taste at the end. It has a lot of complex flavors with only a splinter of fruit. Incredible Beer!

Outstanding!!! Has a great pour with virtually no foam. Aroma has various hints of chocolate and dried fruits. Smooth taste with a little bitter after taste, which is most enjoyable.

This beer tasted wood-fired. I was happy to try this beer, especially because I’m a fan of the Golden Ale. I would recommend this beer to anyone who likes stouts, porters, or dark beers in general.

Pours onyx with 1-finger tan head. Nose is heavy roasty dark malt, fig, prune, dark fruit, cacao. Tastes dark malty, pruny, figgy, with notes of cherry, merlot, oaky bourbon, cacao, and a mild tartnedd. Velvety, smooth palate. Outstanding.

It pours dark with minimal head. Definite roasted flavors with strong dark chocolate overtones. Much more carbonation on the palate than the minimal head would give an indication of. Slight pomegranate taste which is not easily noticeable over the chocolate and coffee overtones. It’s a delicious brew.

Bottle shared by CapFlu from Oakes. Black with brown edges thin cream head. Aroma is a very roasty pomegranate with milk chocolate faint hoppiness, caramel. Taste is a very rich chocolate with pomegranate coming through in the aftertaste with a light roastiness and smoke- light toffee. Pretty interesting good stuff.

Pours a deep opaque brown, like dark chocolate, with a nice tan head. Smoky aroma is strongly of fine roast coffee and has a hint of pomegranate. Mouth-filling flavor has tones of coffee and unsweetened chocolate as well as a pomegranate hint. Mouthfeel is lively and tingly, and finish is pleasingly smooth.
