Big aroma of dark roasted coffee and dusty chocolate. Pleasant flavour of more chocolate and coffee, definitely some dark fruits in the middle and then finishes like chocolate milk. Not an Impy stout that’s going to knock you over but a great drink. BDR (2164), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

Medium-heavy body is tingly and dry. alexsdad06 (1091), Ohio, USA

Mack pours a very dark brown/black in color with a small tan head. The aroma has the nice roasted characteristics of a good stout with the more unique mild sour/tart presence of berries and pomegranate. The flavor seems to have a bit more going on: roasted malts, chocolate, pomegranate, mild coffee and a hint of bitterness in the finish. The tart fruit is an interesting addition to the style. A little thin for an impy, but a nice beer nonetheless. golubj (1289), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Aroma of capuccino, chocolate, maybe licorice. Flavor is similar, roasted at first, but then sweeter malt and the pomegranite juice take over. The juice sort of balances the roast. I think i like it, but i am not sure. BMan1113VR (2894), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA

Pours thick with a light brown head that fades revealing a black body. Aroma is roasty with leather, smoke and a bit of pomegranate fruit in the finish. Taste is very smokey and choclatey with the fruity rounding it off quite well, Creamy mouthfeel and light bubbles. The fruity finish and Belgian yeast makes it very drinkable. stefanje (947), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA

Pours an opaque black color with a small tan head that soon diminishes. The aroma is rich with dark chocolate, milk chocolate and a bit of coffee. The taste is not quite up to the high expectations set by the aroma. The flavor is mostly coffee, mocha and dark chocolate, but the palate is a bit off. The mouthfeel is thin and acidic. The finish is long with lingering cocoa. Overall: Strengths outweigh flaws, A very tasty stout. Thanks Dakine. mar (1903), Dallas, Texas, USA
