Chocolate and ripe pomegranate on the nose. Smells great in a sweet way. Creamy body well above medium. Chocolate, roast, pomegranate, and a bit of coffee. Mild, slightly acetic finish that lingers into robust coffee. Very intriguing and nice, easy-drinking beer. SHIG (2046), Aviano, Italy

Nose is coffee and teriyaki sauce; really odd but interesting. Medium body with a persistent tingle. Taste is coffee and chocolate nicely integrated with a sweet shot of pomegranate. Reminds me of Black Forest cake. Gets slightly sour and vegetal in the finish. Very creative stout. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is very roasty and smoky with a bit of charred wood and coffee. Flavor has some smoky wood and coffee in there - light hops. Smooth, but unremarkable. Not bad, especially for a Florida brew.
