Smoky aroma is strongly of fine roast coffee and has a hint of pomegranate. Mouth-filling flavor has tones of coffee and unsweetened chocolate as well as a pomegranate hint. Mouthfeel is lively and tingly, and finish is pleasingly smooth. punkrkr27 (649), Berkley, Michigan, USA

Pours black with an amber tint around the edges and a fizzy brown head that quickly dissapates, but maintains some carbonation. Smells of toasted malts, dark cocoa and cherry cough syrup. Builds in flavor with the cherry turning to a sweeter pomengranate taste. Starts dry with a bit of smoke, but finishes a little sticky. This is the MACK! sebletitje (1997), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours black, with a thin nutty head.
Nose is roasty with a slight fruity presence.
Aroma is roasty malt, coffee with a very hidden but sweet discreet pomegranate. Sweet and bitter at the same time, mix between the roastiness and the botterness of the yeast.
Still wondering how this qualifies as an Imperial!

No real hint of the pomegranate, just a nice chocolate and coffee scented beer with some of the same flavors on the palate. Pours very dark with a very small head. Good amount of hops. Well done.
