Nice fruit in the aroma with a underlying stoutiness. Ripe, rich fruit up front in the flavor but falls into a muddy, peanuty grossness with a watery, milky finish. Blech. I like the fruit though.

Pours a black color with hardly any head at all. Aroma is of black patent malts, a bit of roastiness, and some fruit. Flavor is a weak watery roasted flavor with that hint of pomegranite in there. This is a perfect example of ho not very good beers get good ratings because they are a stout.

This is an interesting one. Pour is nice; black with thin beige head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, lactic acid, tobacco-but milder than expected. Flavor is interesting, very sweet at first, maybe too much so. Then is has the flavor of a lacto-stout; sour and milky. Finish is chocolate, sweet, and cocoa. It is definitely a different flavored stout. I do like it, but it’s a bit too sweet and sour for me.

12 oz bottle as a trade extra from Emacgee. Almost black in color with a tan head. Aroma of roast, a touch of chocolate. Taste is roasty with some chocolate, mildly fruity from the pommegranate, a bit on the thin side, but enjoyable enough. Finishes with a light hop bitterness. Thanks Ethan for sending this my way.

Bottle from daknole. The nose is rather tart with noes of roast and dark malt. Pours a shade of black. The initialy flavor is roasty and dark with some tartness from the pom juice. Dry roasty finish. Interesting beer.

12oz bottle thanks to masonjer...dark cola brown pour with reddish-brown edges and a thin light brown head... deeply roasted aroma and some subtle tart fruit in the background....lots or roasted malt and smoke in the flavor along with chocolate and a hint of tart cranberry/pom in the finish. decent mouthfeel but didn’t hold everything together well.

tasted with the phoenix crew. provided, yet again, by sparky27... holy hell! this is an imperial stout?! pours dark brown with a small tannish head. aroma is ashy, cream, coffee, quite tart and possibly smoky. the flavor is... odd... loads of ash with some coffee, cream and dry, roasty grain. the finish is like biting into a pomegranite seed... a bit earthy and dry. light to medium body with prickly carbonation.

(bottle thanks for sharing OSLO!) pours black with a light tan head. As OSLO mentioned, the aroma is really strange. It’s a mix of chocolate, strong scents of roasted barley, and a subtle undertone of pomegranate that lends a slight sour smell to the beer. Although unusual, I didn’t find it to be all that pleasant to smell. The flavor possessed a lot of roasted malt, with a marshmallow and graham cracker like finish. There also was just a hint of that pomegranate flavor detectable too. The mouthfeel was medium-thin. This was definitely an unique impy.
