Pours a slightly murky gold. Notes of confectioner sugar, vanilla icing, honey roasted peanuts, maybe carrot cake. Just a touch of spice. I don’t taste the alcohol at all. Not bad at all. Very smooth. Would drink it again.

Pours a lasting ring of off-white head with a golden-amber body. Aromas of candi sugar, bubblegum, some alcohol, a little grass. Flavors of malt, candi sugar, little grassy. Honeyed finish.

12oz bottle marked 2009, from dmac. Pours hazy golden with a thin, offwhite head and no lace. Smells of sweet, cereal malts and some rubbing alcohol. Tastes sweet and malty with a twinge of alcohol. Eh, es ayight. Medium body, ok carbonation.

12oz bottle thanks to HOPSHUNTER. Pours a cloudy dense orange color with a very small off white head. Nose is kinda funky esters with a yeast note and lots of apricot like fruit notes. Palate is flat and thick, syrupy almost. Flavor is yeasty funk esters with a bit of honey and some more of the fruity apricot notes.

Sampled at WBF in Durham - poured a golden yellow with a white head. Wheat, yeast and floral aroma. Taste was a floral malt with some yeast. Okay beer but not one of my top ones of the day for sure.

Draft at redlight redlight. Very blah golden ale. Yeasy and floral, notes of clover and banana in th flavor. Not my thing.

Good looking belgian straight out of the bottle, more on the dark side, but the flavor is not as heavy as the 8.5% ABV suggests. Is a little sweet at first but shapes up and leaves a nice refreshing after taste.

Had a glass of this served in its own glass in Miami last year. Had a light off white head and no lace. Color was a lovely dark amber with red highlights. Aroma was fruity and malty. One of the best American attempts at a Belgian style. Killer body and carbonation. Only thing was a slight hint of contamination of bacteria. Nice finish. Super beer all in all.
