Commercial Description:
This Golden Ale is Belgian-Style, yet with a Florida twist! Handcrafted in small batches using the finest all natural ingredients, including German Plisner malt and Czech Saaz hops. Quite a refreshing, yet complex beer… that will only mature if cellared for 2-3 years. -Ideal serving temperature 45f.

Bottle from beerlando and served in my NB worthy glass: Clean deep golden hue with a frothy head and very good lace. The aroma is quite phenolic with banana, starfruit, clove, gingersnap, biscuity and caramel malt, grassy and aromatic hop and a hit of sugar.

The taste starts shockingly sweet and sugary supported by a fruity background. An interesting bitterness appears towards the finish and helped slightly with all that sweetness. Spicy and medicinal notes found upon the aftertaste. The mouth feel is a tad sticky but has good carbonation and alcohol to keep to palate refreshed.

Has anyone actually cellared this beer 2-3 years? Maybe it would help because right now it is too discombobulated and flabby. There is some potential under it all.

Nose is heavy on the banana. Also hibiscus flower, ripe papaya, and tres leches. Golden honey jewel color. Taste is banana candy with caramel. Mouthfeel is soft, kind. Clean finish and warms up well. All in all not a bad beer, and makes for a nice strong but refreshing sipper.

Bottle thanks to dirtymartini: Pours a clear orange gold with a quickly dissapating white head. Aroma, fruity esters, banana, yeast, some clove, and floral notes. Flavor, sweet pale malts, floral hops, banana, bubble gum, some spices, most notably cloves, good bit of floral bitterness towards the end. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle via trade with DragonStout - Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a one finger thick off white head. Faint lacing. Aroma is esters (banana) and spice. Flavor is sweet esters and malt with a light spiced kick. Medium body. No lingering aftertaste. A good beer. Thanks Brian.

Fruity pear banana aromas some sweet malt in backing, sweet fruity taste jumps out at you at first ,sweet candy malt followed by the grain flavor and bitterness of the Saaz hops, extremely strange to taste the initial Belgian taste and then get hit with all that hopping. I guess thats how they got the name of this brew. Thanks Kingpin

Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Has some lacing. Hints of light sweet fruits, belgian candied sugar, good yeast taste, lots of malt, some spice. Finishes with a large alcohol presence.

Bottle from Homebrew Mystery swap. Gold, white head dissipates quickly. Nose is light caramel & fruits, some breadiness, lemon. Flavor is toffee/caramel, rich malt, a hint of raisin. Honestly I thought this was an ESB and not a Belgian Strong Ale.
