12oz bottle, enjoyed in my Chimay Glass. Vintage 2008. Hazy golden appearance. Thin white head. Aroma of sweet malts, a bunch of honey, and that key Belgian yeast biscuit dryness. Sweet malt flavor, a hint of orange flavor. A touch of orange blossom honey. Crisp and refreshing finish. Higher ABV is very well hidden. Smooth and creamy texture. Medium to heavy bodied. Holy Mackerel this Ale is Special and Golden! I like it a lot. It would age extremely well .

Brought up from Jupiter,FL by my friend Kayla: Poured a bright sunshine yellow colour with a fairly large white head. Aroma is instantly oranges, Florida oranges and melon. Yeasty, with some spice and generous tropical notes all around the palate. A nice beer for sure, but i find it hard to believe it’s a Belgian Strong.

Cloudy gold pour with a tiny white head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity. Sweet citrus and sugary malt flavor with a dash of Belgian yeast and a lightly bitter hop finish. Mildly grainy with a touch of orange zest. Very nice.

aroma is astringent of the alcohol. flavor is very sweet with strong pear and apple notes. leaves a slickness on the tounge and a mild alcohol burn. actually gets sweeter as it warm. its ok, but its a bit off balanced for my tastes.

On tap at Yard House (West Palm, FL): Just another beer that I’ll soon forget about when this pint is finished. Liquid banana bread, citrus peel, cloves, pine... and other peppery spices. Fruity throughout also. Rather sweet. Alcohol isn’t relatively masked well, but it’s still okay. Rather good.

Bottle thanks to Dmac. Pours out a slightly cloudy golden color with a pretty decent sized white head. Aroma is sweet fruit and some yeast. Taste is sweet fruits with some other yeasty and slight grain notes, a little banana, and maybe some light spice. Overall pretty solid and rather drinkable.
