This Golden Ale is Belgian-Style, yet with a Florida twist! Handcrafted in small batches using the finest all natural ingredients, including German Plisner malt and Czech Saaz hops. Quite a refreshing, yet complex beer… that will only mature if cellared for 2-3 years. -Ideal serving temperature 45f.

pours semi hazy with large quickly disappearing head. Nose is bubble gum, yeast and slight lemon. Flavor is apple, yeast, bready notes, mild spice and some alcohol. Smooth but a slight booze bite.

2008 bottle; courtesy of daknole. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a frothy white head that diminishes to a creamy cap and patchy lace. As it opens up, the nose is dominated by a solid Dubble Bubble note and fruity Belgian yeast. Medium-bodied, creamy and velvety-soft with a lingering yeastiness in the finish. Sweet and yeasty with solid notes of spicy pear, bubble gum, faint banana and white pepper. It lacks the integration and finesse of better examples of this style, but it’s a pretty decent beer. Thanks for the bottle Dak.

Clear light amber with a white head. Sweet honey, malty aromas. Medium body. Fruity, yeasty pale malt flavors with some spicy hops. Nicely bitter finish. Draft@ Strange Brew SHV

Weak aromas of yeast and some fruit. Poured a somewhat hazy golden color with a small white head. Excellent flavors of sweet yeast and citrus fruits as well as some bubblegum. Not one of the sweeter Belgian Strong Ales I have had but a good beer nonetheless.

(Rating #2414)

12 oz bottle from Spirits RB. Pours a clear golden/orange with a smaller bright white bubbly head. Initiial aroma was very floral, with notes of yeast and grains followed up with banana and tangerine rinds. Medium bodied with a dry finish and average carbonation. Flavor of yeast and dry toast, to a lesser extnent some fruity esters. Not bad but not knocking my socks off either.

Bottle. Crystal clear yellow/orange pour with little carbonation. Aroma was bready bubblegum. Flavor was heavy on honey, malts and finished syrupy with a little bit of hops. Decent HM beer, but wouldn’t trade for again.
