Lightly Cloudy Gold Colored Ale with a White Ring. Nice Fruity, Citrusy Notes on the Nose, Alongside Subtle Notes of Candi Sugar and Yeast. Nice Carbonation, Sparkly Mouthfeel and Light Bodied. Sweet Malt, Tasting Something to the Effect of a German Lager...Fruity Notes...with Subtle Hints of Spice and Hops. The Yeast Flavor Tastes on the Pale Side of Fresh, a Bit Funky, But Gradually Disappears. Overall a Very Nice Ale and a Very Interesting Mix of Ingredients. Solid Ale.

Bottle. Hazy burnished golden color with a tall soft white head. Sweet aroma of summery fruit, yeast and fresh baked bread. Maltiness dominates the flavor with some lemon and candy sugar notes. Surprisingly mild bitter touch as well. Texture a tad too syrupy. Long, sweet finish. Well, this one won’t make you skip a round of golf in favor of a visit to the Florida brewery.

Wonderful golden orange body with a large, fizzy white head and ample lacing. Inviting aromas of lemon, biscuits with honey and Belgian yeast. Medium bodied, clean finish and a slight warmth...fairly dry and quenching. All around good flavor, lots of crisp fruits coupled with doughy malt and sweet candy. Good brew.

The Dan Journal #273. Tasted 7/11/09. 12oz bottle. 2009 Vintage. Clear with a golden hue. Ring of bone white head. Aromas of honey and melons. Dandelions and citrus. Mildly doughy and perfumy. Medium bodied with a bright palate. Doughy and yeasty character. Bready malts with a big citrus candy note. Lotta flavors and a nice complexity. Solid strawberry note. Milder spices. This was nice.

Bottle from Total Wine. Pours a honey golden color with a thumbnail of white head that reduces within 30 seconds. Aroma of wheat and sweet honey. Flavors are relatively smooth and include more honey, grains, subtle yeast, candi sugar, subtle citrus fruit, and even more honey in the finish. Medium carbonation and medium body. I found the flavor to open up more over time. Not bad.

Pours a slightly murky gold. Notes of confectioner sugar, vanilla icing, honey roasted peanuts, maybe carrot cake. Just a touch of spice. I don’t taste the alcohol at all. Not bad at all. Very smooth. Would drink it again.

Pours a lasting ring of off-white head with a golden-amber body. Aromas of candi sugar, bubblegum, some alcohol, a little grass. Flavors of malt, candi sugar, little grassy. Honeyed finish.
