CaptBier (239), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Jul 5, 2008 On tap, 7/2/8, at Lands End in Homer. Light orange with thin white head. Nice soft flavor. Easy to drink but kind of bland at the end.
DarkElf (2627), La Jolla, California, USA Aug 6, 2008 22-Jan-08 (Draft: Duggan’s Waterfront Pub in Homer, AK) Pretty much a standard American pale ale. Pale malt flavor is minimally sweet and is balanced by a moderately bitter, classic American hop flavor. Aromas are fairly light; not much hops, just some light maltiness. Light-medium in body, crisp and clean on the palate. Medium golden in color with moderate haze. Thin, off-white head settles to a sugar sprinkle film and thin ring. Nothing out of the ordinary here, but there’s nothing wrong with making a straight forward beer. iamsancho16 (99), USA Nov 17, 2006 The Homer Brewing company is one of my favorite local breweries. Almost every single beer it produces is excellent. puzzl (1715), New York, New York, USA Jul 22, 2005 Eh. Grassy, decently hoppy aroma. No head, basic PA flavor. Nice palate though. Take the brewers other options. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Jul 17, 2005 Taken from the brewery in a growler 7/7/05: Orange with a yellow tinge and firm, rocky head. Soapy/malty aroma. Grassy and silky with a slippery palate. Too soapy.
