Wow what a fun and great beer to drink. Amber in color with a thin head. I was not sure what this was as for style and after drinking it was ore of an amber than a spiced brew. The spices where subtle yet there but not a huge beer. Would be a everyday easy drinking amber beer. It was however very tasty. Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA

The least offensive beer in the tasting tray. Grainy and mildly fruity nose with a sharply carbonic floral crisp and dry body. Finished clean and sessionable. Flavor reminds me of sour apples almost. Malty and bitter. Nothing special. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Moerate bitterness in the flavour with some sourness. Finish was not great, rather acidic. robforbes (1105), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2009 I am perplexed by this beer. I tasted it first and came to ratebeer looking for the style of this beer and thought for sure it was a saison. I can not imagine this beer being anything else. It is unfiltered, with a light orange body, heavily carbonated, and larged bubbled, quickly diminishing, white head. The smells like a typical belgian sour ale with components of sweet candy apples, oranges, and a slight white pepper. It tastes like a light belgian sour as well. It has a slight sweet/sour thing going on with components of sour orange and lemons as well as a slight tannic graininess. The body is very light and watery with prickly carbonation. Overall, a very unexpected beer.
